Review ViewSonic VP2365-LED - LCD display - TFT - 23 [PC]

I am very happy with this monitor - works as described and the colours are good provided you don't turn the brightness up too much. Only downside is I have had trouble with the anti-theft software provided - it keeps telling me I have changed computers when I haven't and asking me for a PIN number which I don't ever remember entering! The monitor shows a nag screen then goes into black and white mode. You can make the monitor usable again by holding down the [1] and [2] buttons while at the same time pressing the up arrow button.............................

Excellent LED IPS monitor for the price
I bought this 23" monitor when my Dell 22" monitor bought in 2008 packed up. I chose it ahead of the Acer S240HLbid 24" because, although very slightly smaller, it has an IPS (rather than TN) screen and has good technical reviews elsewhere for its colour fidelity and value for money.

I'm very happy with it - images and text are crisp and the colours are bright...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good value but worth spending a bit more.
This IPS monitor reproduces colours very nicely and it was great value when I bought it for c. £111 from Amazon. It was fine for playing Skyrim too, no lag at all and no ghosting that I could see. However my monitor had fairly nasty backlight bleed and strong purplish tones to the blacks in the bottom corners and I had to send it back. I might have taken a chance on a...

Fantastic Product
Seeing as there are only 3 reviews here and all the American reviews for the product over at seem to dislike it I thought I would share my knowledge.

This monitor to start with, is perfect. I spent hours trawling through monitor reviews and specs to find the right one and this is monitor won. First of all the size, I believe the bigger the better but...
3.0 out of 5 stars Monitor
Great screen but even after following all the instructions couldn't get the internal speakers to work.
Support from Viewsonic haven't been able to assist.

Review ViewSonic VA2448-LED 24 inch LED Wide Screen Monitor - (VGA, DVI-D, 1920 x 1080, 16:9, 5m/s, 1,000:1/10,000,000:1, 300 cd/m²)

A friend recommended this monitor to me, and they are priced about right as I wanted to buy a pair of them. It is so much better to have two of these monitors to make it easier to work with the music and video editing software I use - no need to keep overlapping windows now! For the money these monitors have very clear definition with great colour and brightness, and I couldn't be more satisfied with them if I had paid ££s extra. Be aware that this monitor comes only with a VGA cable, and so if you want to use the DVI-D connection you will need to buy a cable, but as they are available for about £5 via Amazon, that is no big deal..............

Perfect for home
Its cons are:
- backlight is visible on edges! But it's only visible when the whole screen is completely black. Fortunately it's impossible to see it in gray background, or in all daily use - even if you actively try to.
- the speakers are tinny, completely useless. The built-in headphone amplifier is of low-quality, too.
- view angle isn't...

2.0 out of 5 stars Ok for the price
I bought this as secondary monitor for a bit of PS3 action while the family TV is in use. Mainly because it's in the same corner, it's also become a secondary screen for my laptop.

My purchasing criteria were:
1) Some speakers for sound through HDMI
2) Good value to size ratio
3) Headphones out a bonus

I was considering much more...
